In this episode, Home Across the River, we highlight two historic sites and museums that give us a picture of how Freedom Seekers, the formerly enslaved, ran to freedom and escaped into Canada, how they determined where to settle, and how they built communities that would flourish and prosper. We’ll also introduce you to two incredible individuals who helped other Freedom Seekers build new lives in Southwestern Ontario.
