In this episode, Friendly Neighbour to Enemy Alien: Japanese Internment and Deportation during WWII, we’ll be exploring the history of the treatment, internment and deportation of Japanese Canadians before, during and after WWII. This was a suggestion from a friend who had seen a post about Japanese Internment camps in Canada online. This history combined with the recent rise in anti-Asian racism, made it a timely topic.
